Joel has always had the reputation of having the cleanest vehicles since he was in high school. That wasn’t easy growing up on a farm with dirt roads to drive everyday but he always managed to keep his cars clean! Detailing has been a hobby since he was a young kid.

Whether it was helping his grandpa shine up his classics for car shows or just maintaining his parents daily fleet, he has been keeping vehicles clean since before he was old enough to drive! He attended WyoTech for Auto Body and Custom Street Rod Fabrication and Custom Painting where he learned the ins and outs of what it takes to not only create but how to maintain that perfect show-car finish with the highest attention to detail. Having a black Trans Am with fresh paint during that time it wasn’t easy to keep clean.

That’s when he realized over the counter auto parts store products no longer would do so he started the deep dive into high end show car detailing products. He began doing show car paint corrections all around western Kansas learning a few tricks of the trade over the next several years from friends and online.

Having automotive body shop experience, you can rest assured that your vehicle is in good hands whether it’s repairing rock chips, sanding scratches, or disassembling for custom full PPF jobs.

He met James in 2019 quickly realizing that James was someone that matched his OCD level that also had the same passion and drive for detailing. Joel began helping James grow business and network.

Eventually in 2022 Joel quit his career job in the power industry and teamed up with James to help him start offering more services and expand business. Detailing was always a passion but now passion has become a career.

I started out my car enthusiast journey back in 2019 when I took the chance of becoming an auto detailer.

I always enjoyed the aspect but got a real taste for the community once I got into the work. I fell in love with it fast as I have always been stern on the cleanliness and enjoyed making anything look proper.

A while after detailing I decided to move into the sales aspect. It was never the same as working on cars themselves as I never had control of how it would look. I came across this opportunity with JS Detailing in early 2024 and started my journey in May.

I was always interested in Vinyl and It was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down as it was way more than just detailing and truly changing how a vehicle can look. This opportunity was a step up from what I had in mind so I took it and ran with it.

Through JS I was lucky enough to get Certified training for our paint protection film products up in Washington! On top of that I have been able to excel to the next level of knowledge and work with our other services like paint correction and ceramic coatings.

Some of the best ways to enhance your vehicle inside and out! They have already given me an immense amount of experience since the day I started and we will continue to grow and add to our JS Detailing family!

I came in and interviewed JS Detailing for a business class and absolutely loved what they stood for and the work environment they had created.

I later met James in the gym and we talked about me coming on to handle their content and marketing.

Since joining the team in August of 2024, I’ve showcased our team’s incredible work and shared our passion for perfecting every vehicle and I now manage all of the content and marketing for JS Detailing.

When I’m not behind a camera or working on a vehicle, you’ll find me enjoying my car, motorcycle, the gym, or just working on schoolwork.

I am constantly inspired by the dedication and attention to detail that goes into every job at JS Detailing, and I am thrilled to be part of a team that is as passionate about cars as I am.
